Through a small incision, Dr. Thakur inserts a tube to manipulate and remove body fat. For safety reasons there is a limit to the amount of fat that can be removed.
In some cases, liposuction is performed alone, in other cases it is used with plastic surgery procedures such as a facelift, breast reduction or a tummy tuck.
